Mumm Cordon Rouge Brut NV is a delicious blend of 45% Pinot Noir (power and structure), 30% Chardonnay (elegance and finesse) and 25% Pinot Meunier; a Champagne that is fresh and fragrant yet rich and complex.

Napoleon conceived the Cordon Rouge in 1802 to symbolise France’s highest civilian award: the Legion of Honour. In 1875, Georges H Mumm decided to use this iconic red sash to decorate his bottles of champagne in acknowledgement of the excellence of the product and the honour it bestowed on the people who drank it.

Dominated by a backbone of high quality Pinot Noir (45%), the flagship Mumm cuvée is an assemblage from 77 different vineyards, including a high proportion of Grand Crus (up to 40%). Up to 30% reserve wines from five different vintages help to create a fresh yet rich and complex champagne with a smooth and creamy finish.
