Mumm Cordon Rouge Rosé NV, Reims, Champagne
An attractive pink colour with luscious red fruits, caramel and vanilla on the nose. The palate is full and fruity with a rich, long finish.
Napoleon conceived the Cordon Rouge in 1802 to symbolise France’s highest civilian award: the Legion of Honour. In 1875, Georges H Mumm decided to use this iconic red sash to decorate his bottles of champagne in acknowledgement of the excellence of the product and the honour it bestowed on the people who drank it.
